So, I have done some long, hard thinking today! I had thought long and hard a couple of weeks ago about cycling. I read a lot about it, and thought it was for me. I decided to take a 10-14 day break after my first 26 days of R2P2 (23 drop days followed by 3 vlcd's without drops). I then had a difficult time and even a steak day during my phase 3 break. I decided to start back on phase 2 after an 11 day break, which was this past Monday, so today is vlcd3. My goal was to lose about 10 more pounds, which would be my OMG goal. I however knew that I only had a small amount of HCG left, so decided to just finish out what I have...then be done with whatever weight I get to since I am very happy with my current weight and body image. My weight has not been this low since I don't remember when, more than 10 years ago, that's for sure! I have had a hard time getting back into phase 2 mode, and figured today that I only have enough HCG to last me 2 more days. I started thinking long and hard about whether to finish out my HCG or just stop after today, wait 72 hours and go back to phase 3. So...that's my decision. Today will be my last drop day...however, I will use my ldw from a couple of weeks ago since I was only back in the funk for a few days, seems like the most reasonable thing!
After I get through the next 8 weeks, I will make another decision...whether or not I am satisfied or want to do another short round! Hopefully by then my head will be back in the game. I think it is very important for your body and mind to take a break, and my break was just not long enough...so I will go back to protocol!
